Last week I had the pleasure of working with Brighter Sound, an organisation that produces creative music projects and events in Manchester. The project was ‘Young Musicians Week’, an opportunity for young people to work with some amazing musicians and artists including Richard Jupp (Elbow), Natalie McCool, Jenna G, InnaVoice and Burgaboy. Brighter Sound also organised the Beth Orton residency last year (also featuring Natalie McCool) which culminated in a beautiful group performance at the end of a week of collaboration and songwriting – you can see my photos of their one-night-only gig here.
